Rubber Insulation Materials are produced with the latest technology and advanced automatic production lines, using premium nitrile rubber (NBR), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and other high-quality support materials. Manufactured through a special process, these materials feature a closed-cell foam structure, making them high-grade, soft, and efficient for insulation applications.

For use on cold systems, AP/thicknesses have been calculated to control condensation on the insulation outer surface, as shown in the table of thickness recommendations.
AP/Sheet and Roll Insulation is acceptable in thicknesses through 2″ for use in air plenums. Conforms to NFPA 90A and NFPA 90B requirements. AP/Sheet and Roll Insulation meets the energy code requirements of International Energy Conservation Code (EICC) and ASHRAE for R-Value 4.2 at 1″ wall thickness and R-Value 8 at 2″ wall thickness.
Resistance to Moisture Vapor Flow
The closed-cell structure of AP prevents moisture from wicking and makes it an efficient insulation. For many applications, needs no supplementary protection.
Additional vapor-retarder protection may be necessary for when installed on very-low-temperature surfaces or piping or where exposed to continually high humidity conditions.
